# List Wallets (Partner, slim)

> Retrieve your wallets — id, currency, country, and balances only. The lightweight alternative to GET /wallets for API integrations.

## Overview

`GET /partner/wallets` returns every wallet provisioned under your company, with only the fields a programmatic integration typically needs: `id`, `currency`, `country`, `balance`, `payin_balance`, `payout_balance`, and `is_active`.

This is the slimmer counterpart to [`GET /wallets`](/api-reference/endpoint/get-wallets), which also returns configured phone numbers, mobile money operators (with USSD codes), and live provider coverage — useful for rendering the dashboard, but unnecessary weight for most integrations. `GET /partner/wallets` skips all of that, which also makes it lower-latency (no live provider balance refresh).

Use this to look up a wallet's `id` for [`POST /partner/wallets/preview-conversion`](/api-reference/endpoint/post-wallet-conversion-preview) and [`POST /partner/wallets/xaf-usd-conversion`](/api-reference/endpoint/post-wallet-xaf-usd-conversion).

## When to use it

* Look up a wallet's `id` and currency for use in other endpoints.
* Check a balance programmatically without parsing the full dashboard payload.

## Prerequisites

None beyond a valid access token.

## Request

### Headers

| Name | Required | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `Authorization` | Yes | `Bearer <access_token>` |

No query parameters or body.

## Response

### 200 — Success

```json theme={null}
{
  "success": true,
  "statusCode": 200,
  "message": "2 items retrieved successfully",
  "data": [
    {
      "id": "w1a2b3c4-d5e6-7890-abcd-ef1234567890",
      "currency": "XOF",
      "country": "BJ",
      "balance": 0,
      "payin_balance": 50000,
      "payout_balance": 0,
      "is_active": true
    },
      "currency": "USD",
      "country": "USA",
      "balance": 296.85,
      "payin_balance": 0,
      "payout_balance": 0,
      "is_active": true
    }
  ]
}
```

Standard envelope — see [API Conventions → Response envelope](/getting-started/conventions#response-envelope). Each entry under `data`:

| Field | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `id` | string | Wallet ID (UUID). Use for other wallet operations. |
| `currency` | string | The wallet's currency. |
| `country` | string | Country as stored on the wallet — in practice this is **inconsistently** a full name (`"Cameroon"`) or an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code (`"BJ"`) depending on how the wallet was created. Don't rely on its exact format; match on `currency` instead if you need to pick a specific wallet. |
| `balance` | number | Total balance. |
| `payin_balance` | number | Pay-in sub-balance. |
| `payout_balance` | number | Pay-out sub-balance. |
| `is_active` | boolean | Whether the wallet is active. |

## Code examples

```bash cURL theme={null}
curl https://api.cartevo.co/api/v1/partner/wallets \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"
