Overview

GET /partner/wallets returns every wallet provisioned under your company, with only the fields a programmatic integration typically needs: id, currency, country, balance, payin_balance, payout_balance, and is_active. This is the slimmer counterpart to GET /wallets, which also returns configured phone numbers, mobile money operators (with USSD codes), and live provider coverage — useful for rendering the dashboard, but unnecessary weight for most integrations. GET /partner/wallets skips all of that, which also makes it lower-latency (no live provider balance refresh). Use this to look up a wallet’s id for POST /partner/wallets/preview-conversion and POST /partner/wallets/xaf-usd-conversion.

When to use it

  • Look up a wallet’s id and currency for use in other endpoints.
  • Check a balance programmatically without parsing the full dashboard payload.
